Samsung had recall-related issues with certain models in previous years - verify your specific model number against Samsung's current recall list before proceeding. Smart Home Connect setup is done by the homeowner after installation, not by the installer.

LG dishwashers have standard installation requirements. For models with EasyRack Plus (the adjustable upper rack system), leave the door open during the final leveling process so the rack mechanism is in the open position - this ensures accurate leveling. GE and GE Profile dishwashers have standard installation requirements across the range. GE Profile smart models (with SmartHQ app integration) require Wi-Fi setup by the homeowner after the appliance is installed and running - this is not part of the installation professional's scope.
